Green tea is one of the most healthy and celebrated beverages known to the humankind, but second to water. Green tea is the traditional Chinese tea with oxidation between black and green ranging from 10% to 70%. Green tea is rich in catechin polyphenols such as epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) – a powerful antioxidant known for destroying cancer cells. Today, green tea is used for fighting everything from cancer to depression to lowering cholesterol.

Brewing method

Brewing green tea is easy. It doesn’t require milk and sugar, as it should be enjoyed in its original taste. It is sold as loose instead of tea bags. For brewing a perfect cup of green tea, water should be boiled to 70°C to 82°C depending on the variety of the tea chosen. You can boil the water and allow it to cool down for 2-4 minutes before steeping the tea bags for 30 seconds to four minutes (as per the instructions given on tea packets). Green teas should be brewed in clay,ceramic, glass, or stainless steel teapots.

Storing Green Tea

Like regular teas, green teas should be stored in an airtight container because naturally occurring compounds may get oxidised by exposure to sunlight and air. Store the tea container in a dark and cool area in the cupboard, otherwise the flavours of the tea may disintegrate, when it comes in contact with light and heat.Green tea should be used within 2 months and unused packets should be stored in the chest freezer.Avoid re-freezing the used green tea packets as it may dampen. Green tea should not be stored in plastic bags or Ziploc bags because they are not airtight.

In an unlikely event where any of the following happens, we are liable to either issue a refund (partial or full) or send you a fresh order:

  • If theft happens during shipment

  • If your location is not serviceable by our courier partners

To complete your return/ refund in any of the above situation, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to the address we intimate you over email.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over Rs.1000, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
