  2. Why are a lot of people eating white rice? It makes people diabetic and a lot of other diseases. I hope white rice is banned…I used to eat white rice because that is what my mother used to make among other dishes. My mother became diabetic…She doesn’t white rice anymore. After I switched from white rice for a few weeks my stomach wasn’t feeling great. Soon my stomach got used to non white rice and now I am fine…My advice to people in general is to avoid white rice…Limit your grain consumption to 3/4 cup or 1 cup of cooked grains per meal.
